Get Revision - BlobHub

Retrieve a revision by id alone.

GET `/revisions/:id`

Requires Read access to the revision’s blob.

Path Parameters

`id`	string	Yes	The unique ID of the revision.

This route has no blob in its path, so it takes an id only — there is nothing to resolve default against. To follow a blob’s default revision, use Resolve Revision.

`id`	string	The revision id.
`blob_id`	string	The owning blob.
`parent_id`	string	The revision it was created from. Absent on a blob’s initial revision.
`comment`	string	Set at creation, and editable while the revision is writable.
`user_id`	string	The user who created it.
`created_at`	string	ISO 8601, set once.
`updated_at`	string	ISO 8601, moves whenever the record itself changes.
`status`	string	`creating`, `ready`, `committing`, `deleting` or `failed`.
`phase`	string	`draft`, `commit` or `managed`.
`failed_operation`	string	`create`, `commit` or `delete`. Present only when `status` is `failed`, and even then may be absent — see Delete Revision.

Errors

Status	Error	Cause
404	`revision_not_found`	The id is unknown, or the caller cannot reach the blob it belongs to.
403	`forbidden`	The revision’s blob is not visible to this key.
409	`blob_not_ready`	The blob is being created or deleted.
